- Supporting MFL teachers across KS3 and KS4 to deliver engaging, communicative French and Spanish lessons
- Working with small groups of pupils to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages
- Providing additional language support to pupils who require targeted intervention ahead of GCSE examinations
- Tracking pupil progress and feeding back regularly to the class teacher and Head of MFL
- Building confident, enthusiastic relationships with pupils to develop their love of language and cultural awareness
The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top UK university in Modern Languages, French, Spanish, or a closely related discipline. A UK-awarded bachelor's degree is essential for this role. Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting is highly valued. The candidate should be fluent, culturally aware, and enthusiastic about language teaching with strong communication skills.

- £480 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
- Term-time only
- Potential for extended contracts or teacher training pathways following a successful placement
