Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Leytonstone, who are rolling out a new alternative provision from September. The setting will provide a nurturing and structured environment for pupils with EHCPs, supporting their academic, social and emotional development.

The school is looking to take on a SEN Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful SEN Teacher will be teaching mixed primary pupils across the provision, planning and delivering differentiated lessons, supporting pupils with a range of needs and working closely with support staff, families and external professionals.

• QTS
• Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN and EHCPs
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum across mixed key stages
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• The ability to work well as part of a wider SEN and pastoral team
