• Supporting Maths teachers across KS3 and KS4 to deliver structured, engaging lessons
• Working with small groups of pupils to reinforce core mathematical concepts and close gaps in understanding
• Providing additional support to pupils with SEN or additional learning needs within the Maths classroom
• Tracking pupil progress and feeding back regularly to the class teacher and Head of Mathematics
• Building consistent, motivating relationships with pupils to develop their confidence and resilience in Maths

• The ideal Maths Teaching Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university, ideally in Mathematics, a STEM subject, or a closely related numerate discipline
• Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting is highly valued
• The school is seeking a proactive, patient, and mathematically confident Maths Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for helping young people succeed in Maths

• £480 per week, pro rata to term time only
• Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
• Term-time only
• Potential for extended contracts or teacher training pathways following a successful placement
