Job Description & How to Apply Below
Overview
We are looking for a Programmatic Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on, operational role at the heart of campaign delivery: you will support Account Managers and senior leads across the full programmatic campaign lifecycle – from media plan implementation and creative trafficking through to optimisation, reporting and post‑campaign analysis. You will work across a portfolio of clients and partner closely with planning, ad operations, buying and creative trafficking teams.
The role is ideal for someone early in their programmatic career who is eager to build deep technical knowledge, develop strong client‑service instincts and grow within a supportive, fast‑paced agency environment.
- Act as Account Management Support, acting as a reliable conduit between clients, trading teams and finance.
- Coordinate the tactical design and implementation of campaigns across Display, Video, Audio and DOOH, ensuring all elements align with client objectives and team best practice.
- Work with the campaign management team to ensure that media plan requirements – targeting, budgets, pacing, deal IDs – are correctly implemented within DSP consoles.
- Assist in tracking, measuring and analysing campaign activities, contributing to the delivery of accurate and timely performance reports.
- Learn to interpret campaign data and identify trends, contributing initial observations on performance and potential optimisation opportunities.
- Support the identification and resolution of delivery or performance issues, escalating to your Account Manager as necessary to keep campaigns on track.
- Help prepare campaign performance updates and reports for clients and agency teams, clearly articulating results and recommended next steps under the guidance of your manager.
- Assist in preparing materials that support the selling of our programmatic services, developing an understanding of how our solutions address client needs.
- Assist in preparing for and participating in client meetings, learning how to communicate campaign updates and performance effectively.
- Begin to develop a foundational understanding of various Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), their functionalities and best practices, with the aim of identifying basic optimisation opportunities over time.
- Develop an awareness of the digital media industry, market dynamics and emerging trends to help inform campaign approaches.
- Collaborate with internal teams – Account Managers, traders, analytics specialists and campaign engineers – contributing positively to team dynamics.
- Assist in liaising with publishers and technology partners, learning about new features and capabilities and helping to keep the wider team informed.
- Actively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of digital advertising concepts, tools and industry best practice, including pursuing relevant platform certifications.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of team processes by sharing feedback and observations from your day‑to‑day activities.
- Genuine interest in programmatic media and the digital advertising ecosystem – whether through formal study, work experience, personal projects or self‑directed learning.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charting) and to draw clear conclusions from data.
- Excellent attention to detail – comfortable cross‑referencing figures across multiple documents and spotting inconsistencies.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication; comfortable drafting emails and reports and contributing in meetings.
- Organised and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment without sacrificing quality.
- A collaborative team player who is also happy to take ownership and work independently when needed.
- Familiarity with any of the following is beneficial but not required: DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360), ad servers (CM360), project management tools (Asana), or measurement and verification platforms.
- Flexi‑leave, with 25 days annual leave as a minimum, plus the office typically closes between Christmas and New Year.
- Free breakfast and free lunch.
- Early‑finish Fridays.
- Core hours Monday to Thursday with flexible start and finish times.
- Group Personal Pension Plan with matched contributions from 3‑6%.
- Private Medical Insurance or Health Cash Plan (dependent on level).
- Life Assurance and Group Income Protection.
- Generous parental leave and pay.
- Wellbeing programme, Employee Assistance Programme and free eye tests.
- Interest‑free season ticket loan.
- Paid time off for volunteering.
- Retail discounts and flexible benefits including dental, travel insurance, cycle‑to‑work, gym discounts and more.
