Overview

Purpose of Role

The Multi-Trade Construction Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality practical and theory-based construction training to learners across a range of multi-trade areas.

The role will support learners to develop the skills, knowledge, behaviours, and confidence required to progress within the construction industry. This includes delivering training in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating, basic brickwork, health and safety, employability, and wider construction skills.

The tutor will prepare, deliver, and review engaging lessons, monitor learner progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure all delivery meets STC Group, awarding body, funding, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and health and safety requirements.

• Deliver high-quality practical and theory-based construction training to learners across a range of multi-trade areas.
• Prepare, deliver, and review engaging lessons and learning activities.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes.
• Ensure delivery complies with STC Group requirements, awarding body standards, funding conditions, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and health and safety policies.
