Choice Teachers are delighted to be working with a fantastic secondary school in South West London that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher on a permanent basis.

The school is looking to secure the right candidate for a January 2027 start, although there is potential for the successful applicant to begin from September 2026 for the right person.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious Science department within a school that values high-quality teaching and staff development. The successful candidate will be passionate about Physics, committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students, and able to inspire a love of science across the school.

• Planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons
• Marking and assessment
• Monitoring and tracking student progress
• Attending parents' evenings
• Participating in departmental and whole-school meetings
• Writing reports and contributing to the wider school community
• Supporting students to achieve their full academic potential

• Must hold QTS
• Be able to quickly build a strong and professional rapport with pupils
• Must be dynamic in the classroom
• Have strong communication skills
• Proactive and solution-focused mindset
• Ability to teach Physics at Key Stage 5 (A-Level) is essential
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work
• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
