Nurture Teacher

The PRIDE Academy is a secondary special school located in the London Borough of Hillingdon, dedicated to supporting students aged 11 to 19 with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The Pride Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurture Teacher to join our welcoming school community. In this role, you will deliver tailored lessons that support and inspire every child to achieve their full potential.

• To raise standards of student progress and achievement.
• To be accountable for student progress and development within the Transition Department.
• To be a role model of professionalism and good practice.
• To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students in the Transition Department.

• Hold a recognised full teaching qualification such as QTS or be willing to undergo teacher training in line with current regulations.
• Clear understanding of the features of high‑quality teaching and learning at KS3 and KS4.
• Experience of working with students with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum in own specialist area.
