Midday Meal Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Hampstead School, a vibrant secondary school in London. This is a fixed‑term contract (Scale 1/2). The successful candidate will support a safe, positive and inclusive school environment by monitoring student welfare during lunchtime.

• Supervise students in dining and social areas.
• Encourage positive interactions and help maintain a calm and orderly environment across the school site.
• Support student wellbeing and promote positive behaviour.
• Respond promptly to any concerns and ensure the safety of all students.
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a supportive lunch environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young people, staff and parents.
• Proactive, flexible approach to teamwork.
• Previous experience with working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
