Location: City Of London

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced KS3-5 Music Teacher to fill a maternity teaching position in a secondary school in Brent, North West London. The position begins in January 2026 and will continue until the end of the academic year and extend into the next school year.

  • KS3 and KS4 position with the possibility of teaching to KS5

The right Music Teacher will be
  • Experienced with the UK curriculum
  • Confident with teaching Key Stage 3-4 Music
  • Able to teach up to A Level
  • Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
  • Available from January 2026
The successful Secondary Music Teacher will have the following
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Music or a relevant subject
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
  • A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
