Prospero Teaching is delighted to be working with a unique and nurturing primary school in Greenwich that is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026

• Position – Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Type of work – Classroom support, intervention work, lesson cover, small group and 1:1 support, assisting with planning and assessment where required
• Contract or position start date – September 2026
• Duration / Likely Duration – Full Academic Year
• Contract or position end date – July 2027
• Contract type – Temporary Contract
• Full time/part time – Full Time
• Minimum rate of pay – 120 - 150 per day
• Hours – 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience working within a UK primary school
• Experience covering whole‑class lessons is desirable
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child‑related references that cover at least the last two years
