As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff, you will provide targeted assistance to students who require additional support due to learning difficulties, disabilities, or social/emotional needs.
About the Role- Supporting individual students on a one‑to‑one basis or within small groups.
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of differentiated learning materials.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encouraging positive social interaction.
- Monitoring student progress and feeding back to teaching staff and parents as appropriate.
- Supporting pupils in developing confidence, independence, and engagement with their learning.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
