DT Teacher
Key Stages 3 and 4
Part time – 3 days a week
Central London – Good school
Salary £190 – £300 per day
A part‑time DT teacher is required to start in September. The role involves teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a preference for those able to deliver Resistant Materials and Food Technology.
Responsibilities- Deliver AQA GCSE Design and Technology.
- Use 2D Design and other CAD software confidently.
- Competently use machinery, equipment and workshop tools.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of a range of materials, designing and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Design and Technology.
- Be willing and able to teach Food Preparation and Nutrition at KS3 and KS4.
- UK QTS or an overseas formal secondary school teaching qualification.
- Experience at any stage of a teaching career, including NQTs and British or overseas trained teachers.
- A keen interest in Resistant Materials and Food Technology is highly desirable.
