SEN Outreach Tutor About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified SEN Outreach Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition for students with Special Educational Needs who are unable to attend mainstream education in Bromley and surrounding areas.

You will deliver tailored lessons in English, Maths and Science
, helping students close learning gaps, improve confidence and make academic progress. Many learners may have Special Educational Needs, Social Emotional Mental Health Needs, or have been out of education for an extended period, requiring a patient and supportive approach.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a flexible role outside of the classroom, making a positive impact through personalised learning.

Requirements
  • QTS or PGCE essential
  • Experience supporting SEN students
  • Experience teaching English, Maths and Science
  • Minimum 6 months' UK teaching or tutoring experience
  • Safeguarding training desirable
To Be Eligible
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Two child-related references covering the last two years
