The Role

This varied role includes:

  • Delivering targeted English and Maths interventions, primarily in Year3, to accelerate pupil progress.
  • Leading phonics intervention groups in Reception and Year
    1.
  • Providing class cover across Reception to Year4 when required.
  • Supporting teachers, promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils reach their full potential.
  • Working closely with staff to ensure high-quality learning and support across the school.
Who You Are
  • Hold HLTA status or have significant experience working at HLTA level.
  • Have previous experience in UK primary schools (essential).
  • Have strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, English, Maths and Systematic Synthetic Phonics.
  • Be confident leading whole classes and delivering effective interventions.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
  • Be proactive, adaptable and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
