School Welfare Officer – Ealing – Immediate Start – Secondary School

We are seeking a caring, organised, and experienced School Welfare Officer to join our secondary school’s pastoral team as soon as possible.

• Full‑time position, start in September
• Based in a secondary school in Ealing with excellent public transport links
• Ongoing training and professional development will be provided

• Manage the school’s welfare room and ensure it is maintained and fully stocked.
• Provide first aid and medical support to students during school hours.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report incidents as required.
• Ensure students receive appropriate care and follow up with parents and safeguarding staff where necessary.
• Support the wider health, well‑being and safeguarding provision across the school.
• Work independently and as a member of a pastoral team.

• Level2 First Aid qualification or equivalent experience providing first aid.
• Experience supporting minor medical needs, ideally within a school, healthcare or childcare setting.
• Calm, caring and professional approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider pastoral team.
