A highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW2) is seeking several dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across both its Additional Resource Provision (ARP) and mainstream settings.   • ARP Department: 2 x Year 2/3 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistants
  • ARP Department: 2 x Year 4/5 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistants
  • ARP Department: 1 x Year 5/6 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Mainstream Department: 1 x Reception SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Mainstream Department: 1 x Year 2/3 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistant
Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), Speech & Language needs, and other additional needs.
  • Working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups.
  • Supporting the delivery of personalised learning programmes and EHCP targets.
  • Encouraging independence, engagement, and positive behaviour.
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
  • Are patient, caring, and resilient.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Are passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.
  • Have school-based experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable).
