Science Graduate Teaching Assistant – Tower Hamlets Secondary School

Pay: £115‑£120 per day (depending on experience)

Full‑time position (Monday to Friday) starting ASAP with progression to train as a qualified teacher in September 2026. The Science Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely to support pupils 1:1 and in group settings, using a positive and confident approach and strong subject knowledge to inspire and encourage students to achieve their highest potential.

• Work with pupils in one‑to‑one and group settings.
• Support classroom learning and activities.
• Assist teachers in planning, delivering and assessing lessons.
• Use subject expertise to enhance student engagement.
• Provide positive encouragement to support student potential.

• Hold a 2:1 or above degree in Science with any specialism.
• Demonstrated academic excellence and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Strong subject knowledge and positive, confident personality.

• Pay range: £115‑£120 per day.
