Pay Range: M1 - M6 paid to scale (PAYE or Umbrella)

- Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour and learning.
- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes and learning abilities.
- Support pupils’ engagement, progress, and positive conduct.
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and reporting procedures.
- Build positive relationships with students and staff across school settings.
- Undertake full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and marking.
- Develop students’ confidence and fluency in mathematical reasoning, problem‑solving, and numeracy skills.
- Hold QTS or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification (essential).
- Be a confident ECT or an experienced teacher within the secondary phase.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum for KS3–KS4.
- Have the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment, and behaviour.
- Show an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues and school leaders.
- Supportive departments and senior leadership teams.
- Engaged and respectful students.
