Interventions Teaching Assistant – Hackney
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping pupils reach their full potential? Do you have experience delivering targeted interventions in phonics, English, and Maths to support pupils in making strong academic progress?
About the RoleA welcoming primary school in Hackney is seeking an experienced Interventions Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted intervention sessions to pupils who require additional support. This includes working with individuals and small groups, focusing on key curriculum areas such as phonics, English, and Maths, helping children build confidence, develop core skills, and close learning gaps.
The role involves tracking pupil progress, adapting intervention strategies to meet individual needs, and supporting children to achieve their learning goals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering interventions within a primary school setting and a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
