Plumbing Lecturer

Overview

Plumbing Lecturer role at our client. We are seeking an experienced and passionate lecturer to join the team and shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

You will deliver engaging lessons to students across Level 1 to Level 3 Plumbing programmes, supporting learners of varying abilities and backgrounds. Working closely with the Curriculum Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of the department, ensuring students receive a high-quality learning experience. Drawing on your industry expertise, you will inspire and motivate learners to achieve their career aspirations while helping them develop the practical skills and knowledge required for success within the industry.

You will also support the promotion of Plumbing courses by participating in marketing and recruitment events, sharing your professional experience and passion for the trade.

Salary: 33,000 - 44,000 per annum

• Deliver engaging lessons to students across Level 1 to Level 3 Plumbing programmes, supporting learners of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager to contribute to the department's ongoing development and expansion, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
• Promote Plumbing courses by participating in marketing and recruitment events, sharing professional experience and passion for the trade.

• Previous teaching experience or substantial industry experience within Plumbing.
• Minimum of Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).
• Recognised teaching qualification for Further Education, or willingness to work towards one.

• Effective communicator with the ability to deliver engaging lessons to groups of learners and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills to maintain accurate student records and support learner progress.
