BEHAVIOUR MENTOR – WESTMINSTER – UP TO £100 PER DAY

Engage Education is working with a friendly and progressive primary school in Westminster to recruit Behaviour Mentors to support children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) conditions.

SEND Needs:
Autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, and Moderate Learning Difficulties. SEMH Needs:
Anxiety, Depression, Trauma.

• Have experience working with children aged between 1-18 years
• Be confident at managing challenging behaviour
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to build professional relationships with students
• Have a fun but firm presence
• Have an interest in education
• Have a passion for SEND and/or SEMH

• Sports Coaches
• Youth Workers
• Behaviour Mentors
• SEN Teaching Assistants
• Learning Support Assistants
• Support Workers Graduates

• Formally recognised teaching qualification (whenever applicable)
• Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
• Experience working with SEND and SEMH children
• Experience managing challenging behaviour (advantage)

• Earn up to £100 per day
• Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) pay rate – paid equally to permanent employee
• Dedicated consultant for ongoing support and guidance
• Access to CPD training through Engage Education’s in-house team
• Refer a friend scheme – receive a £50 Amazon voucher after the candidate has worked 5 days
