Overview

Intervention Tutor - Secondary School | Enfield, September Start. A high-achieving secondary school in Enfield seeks an Intervention Tutor to join on a full-time basis from September. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a graduate who wants to gain focused experience supporting pupils before progressing into teacher training or another education-based career.

As an Intervention Tutor, you'll work across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering targeted academic support to individuals and small groups. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll help identify learning gaps, boost confidence and ensure pupils receive the additional guidance they need to reach their potential.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted intervention sessions across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Support pupils in English, Maths or other curriculum subjects depending on your academic strengths
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual student needs
  • Encourage confidence, resilience and independent learning habits
Qualifications
  • Graduate with a strong academic background
  • Aspiring teacher or education professional seeking classroom experience
  • Confident explaining subject knowledge to secondary-aged pupils
  • Able to commit to a full-time role from September
  • Organised, patient and committed to improving pupil outcomes
