POSITION
- Primary School Administrator
Prospero Teaching is excited to be working with a welcoming and outstanding primary school in Penge, South East London. We are now seeking an experienced and proactive School Administrator to join this popular two-form entry school from September 2026.

- Previous experience working as a School Administrator within a primary school setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Bromcom for pupil data management, attendance monitoring, reporting, and school administration tasks.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Experience managing school attendance records and maintaining accurate pupil information.
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with pupils, parents, staff, and external agencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and GDPR requirements within an educational environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Commitment to supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy school office and contributing positively to the school community.
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
