ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is looking for an After School Club Assistant for a welcoming one form-entry primary school in Tooting, South West London. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, the school has delightful pupils who are eager to learn and thrive within a happy, diverse, and supportive school community. The successful After School Club Assistant will join a dedicated team committed to providing a high-quality, stimulating, and caring environment for children of all ages attending the after-school provision.
The position is only open to experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants.

Supporting and supervising children during after-school club activities, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for children of all ages
Start Date:
September 2026
Pay Rate: GBP
50 - GBP
55 per day (depending on experience)
Hours:
3:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only excluding INSET days)
Previous experience working with children is desirable
Ability to provide a warm, caring, and responsive environment for children
Experience working effectively as part of a team in a primary school
Flexible and adaptable approach to supporting children of different ages and mixed abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Understanding of inclusive practice and supporting children within a diverse school community
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training is desirable
GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and behaviour management skills
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
