Location: City of Westminster

(working 5 hours various Saturdays between 26.10.26 - 30.3.27) 9am - 2pm

Founded in 1837, the Royal College of Art (RCA) is the world’s largest community of postgraduate art and design students. It is also the oldest art and design university in continuous operation and has been ranked as the world’s number one art and design university for twelve consecutive years, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026.

We are seeking an RCA Saturday Club Coordinator to join us on a fixed term basis from October 2026.

Details of the role:

Grade 5 - salary £34,375 per annum including London Allowance

To start in October 2026 for a fixed term initially until the end of March 2027.

- To support the smooth and safe delivery of the RCA Saturday Club, ensuring a welcoming, well-organised environment for young participants each week.

Availability for all scheduled Saturday Club sessions is essential:

7, 14, 21 & 28 November 2026

5 & 12 December 2026

9, 16, 23 & 30 January 2027

6 & 27 February 2027

6 & 13 March 2027

Ideal Candidate Profile:

This role involves working with young people and is subject to appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures. The postholder will be expected to understand and comply with safeguarding guidance, report concerns appropriately, and contribute to maintaining a safe environment for all participants.

Excellent interpersonal skills, confident and accessible, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people of differing ages, abilities and experience.

Commitment to and sophisticated understanding of diversity and equality.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Highly self-motivated and creative, capable of working independently as well as part of a team
