The successful candidate will have a passion for Geography and the ability to bring the subject to life across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world's physical and human landscapes, while encouraging curiosity, independent thinking and a keen interest in current global issues.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be an enthusiastic and inspiring Geography teacher with high expectations of students.
Have experience teaching Geography across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the discipline.
Be able to plan and deliver creative, engaging and thought-provoking lessons.
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Have experience working with students with SEN, SEMH or additional learning needs.
Be committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of all students.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

QTS, QTLS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum at GCSE and A-Level.
A sound understanding of effective differentiation and adaptive teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).Prospero Teaching Can
