This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within an all-through specialist school, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Whether you have previous SEN experience or are looking to transition from mainstream primary education, the school offers excellent support and professional development to help you succeed.

You will be:

  • Teaching primary-aged pupils within a specialist ASD setting
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies to maximise outcomes
  • Creating a structured, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with therapists, support staff, parents and external professionals
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting pupils' social, emotional and communication development

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be primary trained
  • Have at least one year's UK teaching experience (ECTs are unfortunately not being considered for this role)
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
  • Have the right to work in the UK (please note this school is unable to offer sponsorship)

The role includes full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment, attending meetings and annual reviews where required.
