ANZUK Education is delighted to be supporting a high-achieving secondary school in Central London to recruit a dedicated and resilient Teacher of Spanish to join their successful Modern Foreign Languages Department.

This opportunity has arisen due to an extended staff absence and would suit a qualified MFL teacher with a specialism in Spanish. The successful candidate will teach Spanish up to GCSE level and Key Stage 3, whilst also supporting the school through general cover where required. The role is initially offered for one term, with the potential for extension.

Your Role as a Teacher of Spanish

As a Teacher of Spanish, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities will include:

* Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4

* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support strong progress and achievement

* Creating a positive learning environment that promotes excellent behaviour and engagement

* Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress

* Delivering general cover lessons as required across the school timetable

* Working collaboratively with colleagues within the MFL department and wider school community

* Following school policies and procedures to ensure consistency and high standards

* Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

What You'll Need to be a Teacher of Spanish

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* A degree in Spanish, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject

* Experience teaching Spanish at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level

* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* Flexibility and willingness to undertake general cover when required

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A commitment to supporting all students to achieve their potential

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
