Location: Lambeth, South London

Pay: 108.35 per day

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Learning Support Assistant Required - Autism Resource Provision (ARP) A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their Autism Resource Provision (ARP) from September.

This rewarding role will involve supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs
, helping them access learning, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes within a nurturing educational environment.

The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
  • Support pupils with Autism and complex needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
  • Assist students in accessing learning activities tailored to their individual needs.
  • Promote communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
  • Support pupils with personal care requirements while maintaining dignity and safeguarding standards.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to support pupils' development.
  • Contribute to a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience supporting children with Autism and complex needs.
  • Experience providing personal care within an educational, care, or support setting.
  • A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of SEND and inclusive practices.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
