The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language needs, SEMH and moderate learning difficulties

, and the successful SENCO will have the backing of senior leadership alongside an established team of Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and specialist professionals.
As SENCO, you will have the opportunity to lead, develop and influence SEND provision across the entire school

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the strategic development of SEND
- Managing and reviewing EHCPs
- Coordinating annual reviews
- Ensuring statutory SEND requirements are consistently met
- Identifying pupils requiring additional support
- Developing targeted academic and pastoral interventions
Monitoring progress and evaluating intervention impact - Supporting teachers with inclusive classroom strategies
- Leading and developing the SEN support team
- Working closely with parents and carers
- Liaising with external professionals and Local Authorities
- Delivering SEND-focused staff training and CPD
- Advising SLT on SEND, inclusion and whole-school strategy
You will be a qualified teacher with QTS and have strong experience working with pupils with additional needs.
