The Teaching Assistant Coordinator & SEND Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Learning Progression team by providing high-quality administrative coordination across SEND processes, and by providing day-to-day line management and deployment of the Teaching Assistant (TA) team. The postholder ensures that administrative systems supporting learners with SEND - including EHCPs, High Needs Funding (HNF), and exam access arrangements - run accurately, efficiently and on time, while also making sure TA support is well organised, consistent and responsive to learner need across both buildings.
QualificationsMaths and English GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above. A relevant qualification in SEND, education administration or people management would be desirable.
ExperienceExperience in a SEND administration role, ideally within a school, college or training provider. You will also have experience supervising, coordinating or line managing staff, such as TAs, LSAs or similar. Prior experience directly line-managing a team of TAs or LSAs and experience administering exam access arrangements would be desirable, as would experience working across multiple sites/campuses.
ExpertiseYou will bring working knowledge of EHCP processes and High Needs Funding (HNF) requirements.
SkillsYou will demonstrate excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with external agencies, alongside confident use of data systems/registers and standard office software.

- Friday, with occasional Saturdays), 1 FTE from £30,600 to £34,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
