, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within their school.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and can provide consistent, nurturing 1:1 support throughout the school day.

Location: Westminster
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: ASAP - July 2027
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Pay: £95-£100 per day, dependent on experience
Role: 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil with SEMH needs within a mainstream classroom.
• Support the pupil with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement throughout the school day.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
• Help the pupil access the curriculum and participate effectively in classroom activities.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to provide consistent support.
• Help create a calm, safe and positive learning environment for the pupil.

• Have previous experience supporting children with SEMH needs

• Ideally have experience working within a mainstream primary school

• Be confident supporting children with challenging behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Have a calm, patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children and helping them reach their potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream primary school in Westminster and make a genuine difference to the educational, social and emotional development of a pupil.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
