The Role

As a Variable Hours Lecturer, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across relevant Health & Social Care and Early Years programmes.
  • Plan and adapt engaging lessons, resources and assessment materials to meet the needs of learners.
  • Support learners to make progress, achieve their qualifications and develop the skills and knowledge needed for further study or employment.
  • Maintain accurate course and assessment records and contribute to quality assurance, standardisation and verification processes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the review and improvement of programmes.
  • Keep your professional knowledge and skills up to date and bring current industry or professional practice into your teaching.
  • Support learners to understand how their studies relate to professional practice and future careers.
  • Participate in learner inductions, course reviews, team meetings and relevant College activities.
  • Contribute to recruitment, promotional and open-day activities where required.
  • Support a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment and uphold the College's safeguarding, equality, diversity and health and safety responsibilities.

Salary

£21.77 - £33.90 (plus holiday pay) per hour
