We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of A Level Law to join our Academic Programmes team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment, enabling students to achieve excellent outcomes and develop a strong understanding of legal principles. The role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, providing effective feedback, and implementing interventions to support achievement and progression.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality A Level Law lessons that engage, motivate, and challenge students.
• Teach across all aspects of the A Level Law specification, ensuring students develop strong legal knowledge and analytical skills.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Set high expectations for student attendance, punctuality, behaviour, and academic performance.
• Implement effective intervention strategies to improve retention, achievement, and examination outcomes.
• Prepare students for external examinations through effective teaching, assessment, revision planning, and exam technique development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement of the Law provision.
• Participate in parents', carers evenings, open events, enrolment activities, and progression interviews.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental and college quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity, and college policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance subject knowledge and teaching practice.
• Contribute to the promotion of a positive, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential.

Relevant qualifications and subject expertise in Law, together with a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one.
