We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education college in London on a full-time contractual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across Health and Social Care programmes, supporting learners to achieve their academic and career goals.

• Deliver Health and Social Care qualifications at Levels 1-5 (depending on experience and college requirements).
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet awarding body standards.
• Assess and track learner progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Complete all associated administrative duties, including registers, tracking records, and marking.
• Contribute to course development and quality improvement activities.
• Support learners with academic, pastoral, and progression needs.
• Participate in departmental meetings, staff development activities, and standardisation sessions.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety requirements.

• Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (Level 5 or above preferred).
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Health and Social Care within Further Education, Higher Education, or a relevant training environment.
• Strong understanding of current health and social care practices and legislation.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• Experience delivering BTEC, NCFE, CACHE, T Level, or Access to HE Health and Social Care qualifications.
• Current or previous industry experience within health or social care settings.
• Experience supporting adult learners and apprenticeships.

• Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday

• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on qualifications and experience.
