Pay Rate: £115 - £130 per day (dependent on experience)
A supportive primary school in Greenwich, London is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage
2. This role involves leading lessons, supporting teachers, and delivering targeted interventions to help pupils achieve their full potential.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.
- Lead small-group interventions to raise attainment and accelerate progress.
- Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of learning resources.
- Provide feedback on pupil progress and attainment to teaching staff.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Confidence in leading whole-class learning sessions.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
