withinadynamicstart-up environment,withsignificantscopetogrowastheorganisationdevelops.

WorkingcloselywiththeCCO,youwilltakeownershipoftheday-to-dayrunningofthemakerspace,whilstalsoteaching,developingcurriculumandleadingasmallteam.

Youwillberesponsiblefor:

• Operating,maintainingandteachingstudentshowtouseawiderangeofspecialistmachineryandequipment.
• Workingconfidentlywith
  Adobe Illustrator,Fusion
  360andTinkercad
  .
• Teachingandsupportingstudentswith3
  
  Dprinting,laser cutting,soldering,woodworkinganddyesublimation
  .
• Supportingcomputerscience,programmingandroboticsprojects.
• Developinganddeliveringengagingfabricationandmakerspacecourses.
• Creating innovative,hands-oncurriculumforstudentsaged5-18.
• Developing"lowfloor,high ceiling"projectsthatallowstudentswithdifferentabilitiestoengageandprogress.
• Ensuringexceptionalstandardsofsafety,hygieneandsafeguarding.
• Creatingclearmachineryguides,trainingmaterialsanddocumentationthatstudentscaneasilyunderstand.
• Managingandmentoringasmallteam,ensuringprojectsanddeliverablesarecompletedontime.
• Workingcloselywiththewiderteamtocreateinspiringin-personandhybridlearningexperiences.
• Supportingfamilyengagement,speaker series,openhousesandotherevents.
• Workingwithleadershiptodevelopasustainable,future-focused makerspace.

Youwillideallyhave:

• 5+years'experienceteachingmachineryandfabrication.
• 3+years'experiencedevelopingcurriculum.
• Strongexperienceteachingstudentsaged5-18.
• Experienceteachingfabricationcoursesandworkingwithinamakerspaceorsimilarenvironment.
• Strongknowledgeof3
  
  Dprinting,lasercuttingandotherfabricationequipment.
• Experiencewith2D/3
  
  Ddesignsoftware.
• Knowledgeofprogramming,computerscienceandrobotics.
• Experienceworkingwithhigh-potential students.
• Excellentinterpersonalandcommunicationskills.
• Strongorganisationalskillsandtheabilitytomanagemultiplepriorities.
