The Music Teaching Assistant post sits at Bigland Green Primary School, a term-time role starting 1 January 2027. - Lead aspects of music teaching
- Teach music as required by the National Curriculum, following a published scheme of work, alongside teachers
- Lead singing assemblies
- Support the development of singing across the school
- Help with music resourcing
- Music GCSE grade 6 (B) or above
- Strong background in music
- Experience of singing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence to carry out the duties effectively
- Able to work as part of a team while using own initiative
- Full enhanced DBS check
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Music at A level or degree
- Skilled support in music or singing performances
