Electrical Project Manager

Our client is a specialist M&E contractor delivering electrical works within critical environments. They are currently seeking a hands‑on Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical installations in the City of London.

The role will require close collaboration with numerous stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will be a key contributor from conception, through the design stages, managing the delivery and ensuring that each project is successfully handed over and closed out in a professional manner to the highest of standards.

• Day‑to‑day hands‑on management of electrical works on site.
• Supervising and coordinating electrical subcontractors and direct labour.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely within live, critical environments.
• Maintaining strict adherence to health & safety, method statements, and permits.
• Managing quality control, inspections, testing, and snagging.
• Coordinating works around live operations and restricted access areas.
• Liaising closely with Project Managers, clients, and site teams.
• Reporting progress, issues, and risks from site.

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience delivering projects or packages up to £750k.
• Comfortable in a hands‑on, site‑based role.
• Strong understanding of health & safety within regulated building and construction environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• DBS check (or willingness to get one).
• Flexibility to travel as required.
