Senior Electrical Engineer

Diamond Blaque is recruiting a Contract Senior Electrical Engineer for a local government organisation based in Westminster, London. This role involves leading electrical engineering projects, with a focus on electrical design, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, analysing design specifications, and mitigating risks associated with electrical works.

Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, preferably within a public or large organisational context.

Strong knowledge of electrical designs, standards, and risk management practices in electrical engineering projects.

Ability to review and approve electrical design documentation and conduct risk assessments.

Excellent technical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for safety and compliance considerations.

Practical communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

This contract role offers competitive pay rates of £227.85 per day PAYE or £313.00 per day via Umbrella/Ltd, with Inside IR35 status. The initial period is for three months, with potential for extensions based on performance.
