An award winning multidisciplinary engineering practice is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join its London studio.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in delivering inventive, high quality structural design across a diverse portfolio of projects. The practice is highly design led, working in close collaboration with architects to create intelligent, innovative buildings that are both technically robust and environmentally responsible.

The Role

You will play a key role in the day to day technical delivery of structural engineering projects, managing schemes from early concept through to construction. Reporting to an Associate or Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading design work, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include

Leading the technical delivery of structural engineering projects
Acting as project lead, design manager or discipline lead as required
Preparing and overseeing calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports
Reviewing engineering designs produced by others to ensure technical excellence
Coordinating with clients, architects, contractors and consultants throughout design and construction
Attending design meetings, site inspections and progress reviews
Monitoring budgets and programmes, identifying risks and resource requirements
Ensuring compliance with UK design codes, sustainability objectives and statutory requirements
Promoting safe working practices and fulfilling CDM responsibilities
Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships
About You

Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in a structural design consultancy environment
Strong understanding of UK design codes
Actively working towards Chartered status (ICE or IStruct

E)
Confident managing projects and communicating with multidisciplinary teams
Technically strong, collaborative and commercially aware
Motivated to contribute to a supportive, design-focused studio culture
