We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join Operations team in an established family-owned business in Leeds (LS11). Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of super low loss amorphous transformer technology.
The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Testing Engineer; key responsibilities will be the testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both inhouse and on site. In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels Testing of LV cabinets and control devices Complete protection modifications Knowledge and Experience Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company
Experience of testing and commissioning transformers essential. Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations is essential The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings is essential Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility Have good written and verbal communication skills
Experience of working collaboratively with other operations personnel Ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach Good communication skills Flexibility to assist in other departments when required Salary and benefits:

Working hours:
