Overview

Senior Civil Engineer – Our client is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing London team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you ll take the technical lead on a wide range of civil infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage, flood risk management, and earthworks. The role offers a healthy mix of civil and structural-led schemes, giving you space to apply your technical expertise, problem-solving mindset, and leadership skills across sectors like healthcare, education, commercial, defence, and data centres.

You ll independently manage the delivery of diverse, high-profile projects – from £1 billion masterplans to cutting-edge residential schemes. You ll be involved in all aspects of project life cycles, including client engagement, financial oversight, and quality management. Mentorship and support for junior engineers and technicians will also be a key part of your remit.

• Solid experience in managing civil engineering projects, from planning through to delivery
• The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes
• A proactive, collaborative approach to project and team leadership
• Current progression on a recognised professional institution training pathway (e.g., ICE or similar)
• A passion for engineering excellence, sustainability, and positive impact
