Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
A new opportunity has opened for a Geotechnical Estimator to join a well-established ground investigation and geotechnical contractor based in London. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of projects across infrastructure, construction, and environmental sectors.
The successful Geotechnical Estimator will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders, reviewing project specifications, and supporting the delivery of technically accurate and commercially viable proposals.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions for geotechnical and ground investigation projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to obtain quotations and project details
- Assessing project risks and developing cost-effective solutions
- Supporting bid strategy and proposal development
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Experience in geotechnical estimation, ground investigation, or a related field
- Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or similar (preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Understanding of ground investigation techniques and site operations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
