Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
An opportunity has arisen for a Building Services Engineer to join the on‑site engineering team in Westminster, for a commercial building with various modern M&E and building systems.
This role suits a strong, hands‑on M&E engineer with an electrical bias or a mechanically qualified engineer who is genuinely multi‑skilled and comfortable working in a large, live environment.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across the facilities, ensuring all systems remain fully operational, compliant, and safe.
- Maintenance and fault‑finding on M&E building services systems
- Electrical works including lighting, small power, and compliance testing
- Mechanical plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, plumbing, and water systems
- Carrying out PPM schedules and responding to reactive issues
- Supporting statutory and compliance requirements
- Working within a customer‑facing, high‑footfall environment
- Electrical bias with Level 3 qualification, or Mechanical Level 2 qualification with proven multi‑skilled experience
- Background in commercial building services, retail, or large estates
- Strong fault‑finding ability across electrical and mechanical systems
- A professional, safety‑conscious approach to shift work
- Salary up to £45,000
- 25 days of annual leave
