About the Role

Our client, a chemicals management firm, seeks an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join their technical team in London.

Responsibilities

Lead or oversee engineering projects and systems such as SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks.
Manage end-to-end projects including site surveys, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supervising contractor projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and optimize production efficiency.
Handle projects ranging from £20k to £2-3m CAPEX and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Participate in asset integrity maintenance, upgrades, or replacements to enhance sustainability and engage in mechanical and electrical projects on the process plant.

Qualifications

Demonstrable background in project management, specifically instrumentation, control and automation (IT/OT) projects.
Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil).
Experience with the APM stage gate process.
Good understanding of Health and Safety standards.
