A newly created role for a Technical writer to join a leading boutique law firm whose specialism is Patents/Intellectual Property.

The role will predominantly support a lead Partner and extended team who specialize in engineering particularly medical devices. This role will focus on reviewing, refining, and ensuring clarity and presentation, rather than having direct technical responsibility. That said, the firm does value a strong technical background, so an affinity with the subject matter through related degree would enhance the understanding and delivery in the role.

This role can be remote with periodic office visits and will offer c £40000.

• Reviewing, refining, and ensuring clarity and presentation of technical documents.
• Supporting a lead Partner who focuses on mechanical engineering with a focus on medical devices.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience in the technology industry

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand highly technical information

• Affinity with the subject matter through related degree
