Programme Lead – Systems Integration

About the job:

One of the UK’s largest and most significant aviation infrastructure programmes has engaged our services to appoint a Programme Lead to manage the systems integration on this £multi‑bn project.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to an infrastructure asset that will transform the country.

• Lead the end‑to‑end integration across the airfield, terminal and airspace programmes. Ensuring that assets, technologies, and processes function as a coherent whole from day one of operations.
• Lead delivery of airport systems projects to safety, time, quality and cost (such as baggage, ATC, security, passenger processing). This portfolio will grow as the programme progresses.

• Strong experience leading project integration across complex infrastructure programmes (aviation, rail, or nuclear for example).
• And/or experience leading complex systems projects across the full lifecycle (such as baggage systems, rail signalling, ATC etc).
• A clear and confident leader, able to set direction, bring people with you, and create a strong sense of purpose across a large team.
• Strong experience building and leading multi‑disciplinary teams and putting the right structure and people in place to deliver.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Able to deliver in fast‑moving, changing environments where priorities can shift.
• Engineering Qualification (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
