Senior Quantity Surveyor

London | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and highly regarded Cost Consultancy delivering major projects within the Nuclear sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious QS who is looking to work on complex, high-profile infrastructure projects while joining a business with an excellent culture, strong leadership team, and genuine opportunities to progress as the company continues to grow.

The business operates a flexible hybrid working model and is open to considering candidates from a range of infrastructure backgrounds.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major infrastructure programmes, supporting clients across the full project lifecycle. The role offers exposure to nationally significant projects within the Nuclear sector, working alongside experienced commercial professionals in a collaborative environment.

Candidates from either contractor, consultancy, or client-side backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing project costs and commercial performance
  • Auditing Defined Costs under NEC contracts
  • Cost reporting and forecasting
  • Change management and compensation events
  • Supporting procurement and tender processes
  • Managing stakeholder and client relationships
  • Providing commercial advice across project delivery teams
  • Reviewing and challenging contractor submissions where required
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure projects
  • Strong experience working under NEC forms of contract is essential
  • Experience auditing Defined Costs is essential
  • Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work within a collaborative project environment
