Civil Engineer

Overview

We currently have a vacancy open for a Civil Engineer who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at either our Braintree or London offices, subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of Civil Engineering services for a range of projects.

You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.

• Develop technical designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Prepare calculations and hydraulic models with senior support
• Inspect infrastructure and write follow-up technical reports
• Draft documentation and project drawings for final issue
• Attend meetings including pre-contract visits and client briefs

• Civil Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification
• Basic software knowledge of AutoCAD, Info Drainage, and Civil 3D
• Full clean driving licence with access to own vehicle
• DBS Enhanced check
• Professional drive to work toward Eng Tech, IEng, or CEng MICE
